The Boomers, Reflecting, Sharing, Learning

A showcase of unique items often seen in family homes during the mid – late 1800’s. This exhibition will include cultural references to expand on the historical context of the time, and also, family trees of both the Ware and the Lyndon families. A special event on November 29, Discovering our Roots, will  highlight the methods used to explore the histories of these two families.
The exhibition is made possible by a National Leadership Grant from the U. S. Institute of Museum and Library Services awarded to Lyndon House Arts Center and Athens Regional Library System.
